Project: Graphic Design and Website Consultancy

Project: Album Jacket, Booklet & Disc Artwork

I originally asked Simon to do the graphic design for the album "I'll Be A Sailor" on the basis that he was far more reasonably priced than any of the other designers that I'd asked to quote. He was also willing to give a fixed price, when everyone else wanted to charge an hourly rate but refused to say how many hours work would be involved! He took the time to talk to the printer and CD manufacturer to get a spec from them for what they needed and then worked really closely with me to go through the options and ideas for turning the album artwork into a final set of graphics. He also re-worked some of the artwork appearing on the CD it's self (at no extra cost) after the manufacturer originally sent through the wrong template! He's very flexible in his approach and was good at listening to what I wanted, which is something that I really value in anyone with whom I'm working. I will definitely commission him to do the graphics for future albums!
